I have spent the last year watching my friends, family, and community struggle through this pandemic. Many families are in an increasingly more frustrating battle to fight for equity in public school re-openings, while trying to figure out how to help their own kids. Even as a "veteran" homeschooler, I am finding this to be a challenging time to access resources and stay focused.
I have been fairly quiet here because I have been trying to think about how I can make an impact for families who need it the most. How can I do good and offer help? I tell my kids that they are a gift and a light in this world and to use that to help others. I also try to model that as often as possible.
After a lot of thought, I have decided to do the simplest thing. Reach out and make myself an open resource.
Until June 15, 2021, I will be donating consultations to as many families as possible on a "pay if/what you can" basis. I will only be taking on a limited amount of consultations.
